Remote Viewing Troubleshooting

If you are using AVTECH system, do note that we had cease all support to AVTECH system as there is no easy way to determine if a problem occurs due to malware infection or faulty hardware or misconfiguration. We had last used AVTECH DVR/NVR/IP Cameras in 2015 and we have currently no AVTECH system under warranty/maintenance/subscriptions.

If you are using AVTECH equipment and is encountering issues, here’s your options.


If you are not using AVTECH System and is encountering Remote Viewing issues, ┬áplease fill in the following details from the same internet connection as your CCTV system for us to assist you to troubleshoot. We’ll still need these information if you call/email us directly.

You have to be on the same internet connection as your CCTV to do this troubleshooting

I confirm I am on the same internet connection as the CCTV System(Required).
I allow support personal to access my system to assist me in troubleshooting.

I understand that support for AVTECH equipment has ended and I am NOT using AVTECH equipment.

Please do the initial quick check for the following

I had physically check that all cables are securely connected.

I had physically check that all power switches are turned on.

The router had not been replaced or reconfigured.

If you had not answered Yes to any of the 3 questions above, please ensure that all cables are securely connected and power are turned on. If the router had been replaced or reconfigured, you'll need to reconfigure it. You can follow the guides here (F1-F4) or engage us to do the reconfiguration. Otherwise, please proceed to fill in the following form to send us the necessary information for troubleshooting.

If you wish are not able to visit the location yourself, please get someone at the store to visit the following link It will give you your current IP at the location itself, something like this.

Send the IP displayed (in this case, to us from this page with the rest of the details for us to assist you. Without these information, we would not be able to assist you.

If you have multiple system that you wish us to check, do create separate request with each of the individual system’s details for us to check.
